This Privacy Policy describes how Witness collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the Witness application and related services. It also explains your privacy rights and how the law may protect you.
We use Personal Data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Chat Data
Witness includes an artificial intelligence chatbot. When You submit a message, question, or prompt, that content may be sent to OpenAI, our artificial intelligence Service Provider, solely to generate the requested response.
Chat Data is stored only on Your Device. Witness does not store chat messages or generated responses on its own servers and does not retain a server-side conversation history after processing a request. Chat Data may be transmitted to OpenAI to generate a response, as described above.
Chat Data may be used for the following purposes:
- To process Your message and generate a response
- To maintain conversation context
- To improve the functionality, reliability, and safety of the Service
- To detect abuse, fraud, or violations of Our policies
We do not sell Chat Data.
You should not submit passwords, financial information, government identification numbers, health records, or other highly sensitive information through the chatbot.
Artificial intelligence responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Responses are provided for informational and educational purposes only and should not be treated as professional, legal, medical, financial, pastoral, or theological advice.
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.
Usage Data may include information such as Your Device’s Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser version, operating system, application version, pages or features You use, the time and date of Your visit, time spent using the Service, unique device identifiers, crash reports, and other diagnostic data.
When You access the Service through a mobile device, We may collect information including the type of mobile device, mobile operating system, unique device identifiers, Internet Protocol address, and diagnostic data.

Chat messages and generated responses are stored only on Your Device. Witness does not retain a server-side copy of Chat Data after processing a request.
